Role Purpose:
The Sales Support Executive will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure opportunities are captured, documented, and delivered efficiently. Contributing to lead generation and customer outreach, including cold calling and prospect follow-up. Visiting customers on-site for meetings
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
* 2–4 years' experience in Sales Support, Inside Sales, or Lead Generation — ideally in retail technology, automation, or B2B Sales calling on Retail and Hospitality Sectors
* Prior experience with cold calling or telemarketing in a B2B environment is highly desirable.
* Exposure to solution-based selling involving hardware and software integration is advantageous.
* Irish Full Driving License
* Confident and professional telephone manner; comfortable with cold calling and outreach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency with CRM systems.
* Customer-centric, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-up.
* Ability to work effectively with both sales and technical colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Coordination & Administration
* Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions for AI Cash Management, ESL, and Digital Signage solutions.
* Maintain CRM data accuracy across leads, opportunities, and client accounts.
* Support the scheduling of demos, product presentations, and client meetings.
* Track order fulfilment and installation progress in coordination with logistics and technical teams.
* Assist with internal documentation, pricing updates, and partner correspondence.
Lead Generation & Cold Calling
* Conduct cold calls and outbound outreach to potential clients across the retail sector to identify new business opportunities.
* Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings or product demos for the sales team.
* Follow up on marketing campaigns, event leads, and inbound inquiries.
* Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, conversations, and next steps in the CRM.
* Collaborate with marketing on targeted calling lists and prospect engagement strategies.
Customer & Project Support
* Act as a point of contact for clients on order updates and documentation.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Technical, Operations, Customer Success) to ensure seamless execution.
* Support client onboarding and after-sales service coordination.
* Help prepare implementation documents and client handover.
Reporting & Analysis
* Generate regular sales activity and pipeline reports for management review.
* Monitor key metrics such as lead conversion, quotation turnaround, and sales pipeline performance.
* Provide insights on lead quality and outreach effectiveness.
