Job Description:
Our client, a well-established Hospital in Westmeath, wishes to recruit a Clinical Nurse Manager Infection Control. This is a Lead Nurse Position.
1. Be a Registered General Nurse and registered with the NMBI
2. Hold an Infection Control qualification
3. Must have excellent patient care to a high standard
4. Have excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities
5. Infection Control experience is essential as this is a Lead Nurse role
6. Be computer literate
7. Up to date knowledge in best practice for issues relating to Infection Control
8. Must have excellent management skills
9. Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude
10. Approachable manner
11. Have the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
12. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
13. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in IPC
14. The candidate must demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development
