About This Role:
A skilled Facilities Project Engineer is needed to lead a major expansion project for a pharmaceutical organization in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designs and specifies clean utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and controls.
* Manages projects related to utilities and HVAC equipment services.
* Conducts troubleshooting for complex plant equipment issues and recommends corrective actions.
* Assists in design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.
* Supports the QA Validation department by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution.
* Investigates utility system and control system anomalies and safety incidents.
* Implements corrective and preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.
* Prepares engineering evaluations and test plans and executes modification change control documentation.
* Interprets P&IDs, equipment layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications for maintenance and repairs.
* May supervise contractors.
* Maintains a safe working environment by enforcing procedures and policies.
* Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience preferred.
* Direct experience with Utilities systems and HVAC is preferred.
