Financial Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team on a 15-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal accounting policies.
* Oversee the monthly close process, including preparation of management accounts.
* Develop and implement processes to drive efficiency and meet business needs.
* Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate year-end statutory audits.
* Attend regular meetings with senior finance staff to review financial performance and highlight key issues.
* Partner with department heads to review costs against budget.
* Coordinating and managing the completion of year-end accounts.
* Reviewing and approving financial statements in accordance with recognized accounting standards.
* Manage and develop a team of four financial analysts.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* ACA / ACCA qualified with 8+ years PQE and a minimum of 4 years experience in a management role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex finance issues.
