Overview
Solutions Consultant - Ireland - Public Sector (South)
This role is dedicated to the Public Sector Ireland territory, a critical vertical encompassing key government departments, national security agencies, and essential state bodies. The role involves architecting comprehensive security solutions for large, complex environments that support national defence, revenue, healthcare, social protection, and other public services. The candidate should have experience navigating formal public procurement processes and engaging with frameworks such as the Office of Government Procurement (OGP).
Responsibilities
* Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions
* Positioning, demonstrating, and creating high-level designs across the PANW portfolio based on customer business needs
* Conducting discovery to understand and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers
* Working with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption of solutions
* Demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to influence through presentations, customer-specific demos, technical engagements, and workshops
* Leading technical validation efforts based on best practices to secure technical wins in opportunities
* Orchestrating supporting resources to ensure a one-team approach and cohesive strategy
* Promoting end-to-end solutions that include PANW and/or partner professional services to deliver quicker business value
* Understanding the competitive landscape and differentiating our leadership
* Continuously investing in yourself to develop technical and professional skills for customer success and participating in the Solutions Consultant community
* (OT) Identifying technical stakeholders and cultivating relationships with key personas to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap
Qualifications
Your Experience
* Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures
* Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence business initiatives
* Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role; prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal
* Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
* Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions - Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
* Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions
* Experience with complex sales involving long cycles with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions
* Proficient in English
