Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading airline group as a Maintenance Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical defects and maintenance of our fleet of aircraft.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical expertise and be able to monitor aircraft technical defects with a view to required maintenance and operational requirements. They will also be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of airworthiness standards, fleet reliability, and maximum serviceability.


Responsibilities:

* Support the Line Maintenance operation to maintain a serviceable fleet.
* Assist in the efficient rectification of aircraft defects.
* Coordinate the recovery and repair of AOG aircraft, supporting all aspects of returning an aircraft to service.
* Constantly communicate with flight crew to ascertain the nature of any technical defects reported.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of current maintenance procedures and recommend improvements.


Requirements:

* Hold an EASA Part 66 license (B1 or B1 / B2) with a type rating on B737 NG.
* Have at least 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance preferably on B737 NG.
* Prior experience in a Maintenance Control environment is preferable.
* Flexible approach to working in fast-changing environments.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
