The Role
We’re looking for a Senior IT Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll take ownership of the full recruitment cycle, from client acquisition through to candidate placement, with a focus on delivering high-value hiring solutions to our technology clients.
This is a 360 role, ideal for someone with a strong track record in tech recruitment who’s ready to step up, lead by example, and contribute to Ocho’s growth story.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the full 360 recruitment process, specialising in IT/Tech roles (e.g. Software Development, DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Data, etc.)
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective business development and account management
* Source, screen, and qualify top tech candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, headhunting, referrals, and networking
* Write compelling job adverts and marketing content to attract high-quality candidates
* Manage candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews, and provide coaching through the hiring process
* Negotiate offers and close placements, ensuring both client and candidate satisfaction
* Contribute to the growth of the team by sharing knowledge, mentoring juniors, and helping to shape best practices
* Keep abreast of tech industry trends and recruitment tools to continuously improve performance
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT recruitment agency with consistent billing track record
* Deep understanding of the tech hiring landscape and ability to talk confidently with clients and candidates
* Proven experience in developing new business and managing key accounts
* Strong candidate sourcing skills, including use of LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and creative sourcing methods
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
* Passion for technology and delivering results
* CRM/ATS experience (e.g. Bullhorn, Vincere, LOXO) is a bonus
