**Job Title:** Health and Safety Operations Manager
The Role: We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and advice on health and safety matters within the organization.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures across the organization.
* Contribute to the development of health and safety initiatives and programs that promote a positive safety culture.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters, including conducting risk assessments and investigating incidents.
* Oversee the delivery of health and safety training and awareness programs.
* Collaborate with site management teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Relevant health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in health and safety management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
