Overview
Senior Full Stack Engineer – Location: Dublin. This role is part of the Cash and Positions Development team in Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology group.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality, innovative and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment.
* Participate in architecture and application design.
* Actively contribute to test automation and practices (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).
* Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
* Collaborate with distributed teams and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
* Understand fundamental design principles for building scalable applications.
* Take on responsibility for managing production applications at runtime.
* Learn quickly, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
Qualifications and Skills
* BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
* 5+ years’ experience in software application design and development.
* Required software skillset: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, REST Services, deployment technologies, AWS, BDD, Cucumber and GitHub.
* Experience in DB development with Oracle.
* Experience writing effective SQL stored procedures, optimizing existing structures and fine-tuning SQL code.
* Proficiency in UI development is a plus.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and driving automation.
* Experience developing automated unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
