Their Renewable Energy division plays a pivotal role in Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon future, partnering with developers, utilities, and public sector stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge renewable energy projects.
Role Overview
ATG is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, proven project management capabilities, and a passion for sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the full project lifecycle of renewable energy developments (wind, solar, battery storage, etc.) from concept to commissioning.
2. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental consultants, planners, and contractors.
3. Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk management, scheduling, and reporting.
4. Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and planning regulations.
6. Prepare and review technical reports, planning applications, and procurement documents.
7. Support business development, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
1. Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Environmental, or related discipline); PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
2. Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
3. Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
4. Knowledge of Irish planning and regulatory frameworks for renewable energy.
5. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
6. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
7. Familiarity with grid connection processes in Ireland.
8. Experience working with public sector clients or EU-funded projects.
9. Working knowledge of environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and permitting.
