Senior Principal Accountancy Division at Brightwater
This is an excellent permanent job opportunity to join an established firm of independent Accountants based in Cork City. A key vacancy has arisen for an experienced practice accountant to join the team in Cork. The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years relevant practice accounting exposure in audit / non audit and financial statement preparation. Reporting directly to the Audit Director the successful candidate will cover a varied portfolio of work, client accounts, projects, audit, and audit exempt work. For this key vacancy role the successful candidate must have experience of working in practice here in Ireland.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Production of year-end financial statements.
* Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Completion of accounts to trial balance stage.
* Preparation of year end accounts.
* Preparation of non-exempt audit files / and audit files
* Liaising with clients, tax, and company office officials
* Training, delegating, and developing junior staff.
* Client meetings - advice, planning and assistance for professional requirements.
* Assisting with tax compliance and returns in relation to Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Vat and CGT.
