Summary
As the lead VP managing the global engineering team and working closely with Product Development, you will be responsible for defining, driving and delivering on all aspects of the CRPM solution. Your team will consist of full‑stack engineers who will be responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of multiple Private Markets modules, working as part of an agile scrum team.
Responsibilities
Manage a team, including recruiting, mentoring and career development of a geographically dispersed team of engineers.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create simple and sustainable software solutions for complex problems.
Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements and solutions within Charles River’s business and technical problem domains.
Direct problem solving for projects or major phases of projects to resolve software technical issues.
Provide troubleshooting on large, mission critical client implementations.
Engage in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the CRD scrum methodology, including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Education Requirements
B.S. degree in Computer Science or other technical course of study required. M.S. degree preferred.
Key Skills And Prior Experience
10+ years developing event‑driven architectures; financial services a plus.
Previous managerial experience building, growing and leading diverse teams.
Experience in cloud native development using Java, Spring, Angular or React.
Experience in developing observable, operable cloud native software that horizontally scales.
Experience with relational databases (RDBMS).
Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities involving multi‑tiered, high‑performance database applications.
Demonstrated ability to design and develop software solutions to business and technical problems of high complexity.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment.
Employees are expected to work from the office 3 days a week.
Travel
May be required on a limited basis.
