The role
LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Facilities Engineer to join a biopharmaceutical company in Killorglin, Co. Kerry focused on creating innovative medicines for diseases with high unmet medical needs, primarily in the areas of oncology, urology and transplantation.
Reporting to the Engineering Facilities Lead, the Facilities Engineer will play a key senior role in the Facilities department to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the Plant.
About the Project - Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of significant utility services such as HVAC, Cleanrooms, Water Systems and Clean systems as required. Cross training is encouraged.
Development of system SOPs to achieve and maintain best practice and regulatory compliance.
Scheduling, issuing safety permits and supervising short‑term contractor personnel in the Facilities Department.
Continuous development of Facilities systems to achieve maximum operational and maintenance efficiency.
Education/Experience
Third level degree in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
Minimum 2 years' experience with Pharmaceutical/Industrial/Semi‑conductor process engineering.
Good working knowledge of HVAC & Clean systems required.
Knowledge of control systems would be an advantage.
Knowledge of SAP Maintenance Processing, Trackwise and CAD highly advantageous.
