We are a management consulting business experiencing strong growth across Europe, with an established and expanding presence in Ireland.
The firm is seeking to appoint a Client Director to lead and grow strategic client relationships across the Financial Services, Technology, and Business Services sectors, supporting the continued scale-up of the consulting practice and the development of long-term client partnerships.
This is a senior, commercially focused leadership role, centred on revenue growth, client acquisition, and account expansion, operating within a dynamic and entrepreneurial consulting environment.
The Opportunity
As Client Director, you will be responsible for developing and expanding a portfolio of strategic client relationships in Ireland, with a clear mandate to drive new business, grow existing accounts, and convert opportunity into sustained consulting revenue.
You will act as a trusted commercial partner to senior client stakeholders, identifying transformation demand, shaping high-value consulting propositions, and sponsoring engagements through to successful mobilisation.
The role prioritises commercial leadership and market presence, supported by delivery sponsorship to ensure credibility, continuity, and long-term client value.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead senior-level client engagement across Ireland, driving revenue growth through proactive relationship development and opportunity identification.
* Leverage an established executive-level network across Financial Services, Technology, and Business Services to generate introductions, build pipeline, and secure new client mandates.
* Identify, shape, and win new consulting engagements through compelling value propositions, proposals, and commercial negotiation.
* Act as senior client sponsor for consulting programmes, ensuring strong client confidence, effective governance, and continuity between sales and delivery.
* Partner closely with delivery leaders to ensure client expectations are translated into well-structured, outcome-focused engagements.
* Contribute to the development of go-to-market propositions, sector positioning, and account strategies aligned to market demand.
* Collaborate with consulting leadership to support practice growth, brand visibility, and market credibility within Ireland and across Europe.
* Represent the firm at industry events, client forums, and professional networks to strengthen market presence and generate new opportunities.
Profile
* 10–15 years' experience in consulting, professional services sales, or senior client leadership roles.
* Strong track record of originating, shaping, and closing consulting engagements within Financial Services, Technology, or Business Services.
* Established network of senior client and partner relationships within the Irish market.
* Highly commercially astute, with experience structuring and negotiating Statements of Work and multi-engagement programmes.
* Credible sponsor of delivery activity, with sufficient understanding of transformation, technology, or business change to command client confidence.
* Confident communicator with executive presence and the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating within a growing consulting business and contributing to its market expansion.
