We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team in an assisted living home in Dundalk. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and be able to provide high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
* Medications Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and monitor residents for any adverse reactions.
* Vocational Training: Provide training and support to residents to help them develop essential life skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household management.
* Behavioral Support: Work with residents to identify and address behavioral issues that may impact their well-being and quality of life.
* Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of residents at all times by implementing strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in a residential setting with individuals with disabilities.
* Licenses and Certifications: Must hold a valid IDATQ (Intellectual Disability Assistant Therapist Qualification) certification.
* Skills and Knowledge: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
