Kildare. We are looking for a highly motivated and driven person who can multi task and work on their own initiative within a friendly and busy team environment.Positions:Full-Time, PermenantLocation:Naas, Co. Kildare, IrelandWorking Hours:Mon. to Thur. 9:30am - 6pm, Friday hours based on shift rotations due to transport schedules.Salary:DOERole Responsibilities & DutiesAdminister, monitor, and maintain company networks and IT systems within a temperature-controlled logistics environment.Manage and support user accounts, permissions, and access rights according to company policy and best practices.Ensure secure and regular backup of all critical business data.Operate and maintain Thyme-IT customs software for processing customs declarations and compliance tasks.Handle all processes relating to AES export, AIS import, ENS, CDS, PBN, GMR, TRACES, and IPAFFS for efficient cross-border logistics operations.Create and discharge T2 documents as part of customs transit procedures.Apply the TARIC system and commodity codes for accurate classification of goods and adherence to customs requirements.Utilise Stratum and Business Central platforms to support logistics and customs workflows as required by the business.Documenting procedures, configurations, and system changes in line with internal policies and audit requirements.Key Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, preferably in logistics, food, or related sectors.Strong knowledge of server and network administration virtualisation, and security best practices.Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.Understanding of regulatory compliance in food safety and health & safety is an advantage.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, regulated environment.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to Brexit.Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are desirable.What we can offer you?Annual leave 22 days.Pension plan.Health insurance scheme.Subsidised canteen.Employee assistance programme - this programme offers expert wellbeing support 24 hours a day 365 days a year access to counselling, financial information, consumer information, life coaching, health information, autism support, parent coaching, International employee support, all free for you and your family.Wellness programme.Maternity/Paternity leave benefits.Training & Development, Career progression.Christmas Savings Scheme.Bike to work scheme.
