Our client is looking for a Calibration Technician to join their team on a Permanent Basis!
*Please note this role is full-time onsite in Wicklow *
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage contractor interactions, including visitor training and equipment service coordination.
* Send laboratory equipment for calibration and perform in-house calibrations (e.g., solvent recyclers, KF checks).
* Review and maintain documentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, calibration certificates, and SOPs/WISOPs.
* Investigate equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and support analysts with technical problems.
* Perform routine temperature checks on LCs, water baths, column heaters, refrigerators, freezers, and stability cabinets.
* Support equipment lifecycle activities, including budget preparation, installation coordination, qualification, validation, and spare part planning.
* Maintain monthly calibration schedules and integrate contractor work into internal processes.
* Assist with software administration (Empower, IDIS, IR, hardness testers) and data integrity remediation.
* Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience and Qualifications
* 3rd level Qualification in Science / Instrumentation / Automation
* 4 or more years’ relevant experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory
* Honours Degree in Chemistry/Analytical Science
* Previous Experience in a similar role
