Limerick About the Opportunity The Raheen Store Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and performance of the store including sales, store team, customer experience, security, health & safety, stock and resources management in order to achieve agreed objectives.The successful candidate will lead a customer focused team to fully deliver the required services and support the business and its stakeholders. Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include: Health and Safety ensure that safety procedures are known, understood and followed by all colleagues Zero Harm Programme Lead a safety-first culture, improve & maintain site safety performance metrics, quickly identify & resolve safety hazards & observe site safety governance. Observe all safety rules in place and ensure the requisite PPE is worn within designated areas. Report accidents/incidents/ observations and complete any documentation as required Ensure entire team are fully trained in H/S to meet the standards of the Zero harm policy. People Management & Development Lead and develop your teams capabilities, in line with our Core Values Lead by example in terms of professionalism, commitment and customer focus Ensure team are fully trained, competent and developed in their role Ensure team members are assigned to key service areas & have sufficient tasks to perform each day Engage in performance management and Learning and Development initiatives for team members in order to meet current and future business requirements. Provide timely feedback to team members on an ad hoc and scheduled basis as required Oversee team rotas, forecast staffing requirements & ensure regulatory compliance including Organisation of Working Time Act. Liaise with HR on team recruitment, selection and succession planning as required. Promote good industrial relations within the store and engage fully with all agreed processes and communicate effectively with representatives and team. Sales Meet and exceed store targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monitor and analyse sales performance for each department against budget & proactively exploit all opportunities to sell our range of merchandise Ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of service to maximise sales Update yourself on matters concerning our competitiveness in the marketplace Coordinate and manage the transport schedule and support the Agri Sales function Customer Care demonstrate our commitment to excellence in customer experience Set standards for customer queries & point of sale duties with the aim to exceed customer expectations Carry out regular reviews of issues that arise concerning customer care. Administration Oversight and management of cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures & legislative requirements. Deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business audit requirements, continuous improvement principles & use findings of audits to carry out necessary changes to provide an improved customer service Monitor, check and record cash reconciliations, stocks, purchase orders, returns & refunds according to the guidelines laid down. Ensure that cash reconciliations and lodgements are completed and on time & report any irregularities. Monitor and check suppliers advices and GRNs for accuracy and completeness The successful candidate will have: Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with a proven ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues & stakeholders.
