Supporting Independence in Residential Care
Are you passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives? We are seeking a dedicated Social Care Assistant to join our residential service in Co. Kildare.
As a Social Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with HIQA standards and the New Directions model. You will support and promote the human, legal, and constitutional rights of each person using the service, facilitating and encouraging decision-making, independence, and personal development.
The ideal candidate will have full QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Social Care, Healthcare, or Nursing, with minimum of 1 year's experience supporting vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities. A full clean driver's licence and own transport is also essential.
