Job Title: Reinsurance Specialist Location: Dublin City Centre Working Model: Hybrid (two days a week in the office) Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Specialist to join our client on an interim basis, with a strong possibility of moving into a permanent role in the new year.
This is an immediate-start position providing essential support to a busy reinsurance team during a critical period.
Working closely with Head of Reinsurance, the successful candidate will assist with reporting, contract administration and day-to-day operational activity.
This role suits someone with reinsurance experience who can step in quickly, adapt fast and make a practical impact from the outset.
Your Role Support the preparation, validation and maintenance of data for reinsurance reporting and internal controls.
Assist in reviewing and recording reinsurance contracts, including slips, financial obligations and related documentation.
Help streamline procedures, update internal records and enhance operational workflows.
Manage reinsurance payments and settlements using Business Central.
Contribute to quarterly accounts, bordereaux reviews and interactions with brokers.
Liaise with internal teams to maintain accuracy, consistency and compliance within reinsurance operations.
Provide general support to the Head of Reinsurance across ongoing activities and short-term priorities.
Your Skills Experience in reinsurance either in Underwriting, Claims etc.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Confident working with data, documentation and financial information.
Proactive, adaptable and comfortable stepping into an urgent, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of Business Central or similar systems is beneficial but not essential.
Availability for an immediate start and ability to follow the required hybrid pattern.
