Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Galway
Salary: €50K – €60K + Package
We are working with a leading M&E contractor delivering projects across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors. They are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Galway-based team, supporting the delivery of projects from early stage through to completion.
This role will suit someone with a solid foundation in building services who is looking to develop further within a structured project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support delivery of electrical packages from design through to completion
Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals
Assist with procurement of electrical equipment and materials
Work closely with site teams to ensure installations are delivered in line with programme
Monitor progress and report on project performance
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
Ensure works are delivered to required quality and safety standards
Support commissioning and handover
Requirements
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
2+ years’ experience in a similar role
Must have experience working within construction or building services companies
Experience on commercial, industrial or residential projects
Strong technical understanding of electrical systems
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work as part of a project team
