The Company As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will join a leading multidisciplinary practicein is a senior-level position offering significant autonomy, the opportunity to lead complex public-sector projects, and a strong long-term career path within a highly reputable organisation.Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.The Role You will take a key technical role in the delivery of major architectural projects-particularly within the Irish public works and education sector.The ideal candidate will bring expert-level Revit capability, strong construction and compliance knowledge, and the confidence to lead coordination across multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities Lead technical delivery from design development through to construction.Manage and coordinate detailed Revit models and high-quality technical drawings.Deliver projects in line with Department of Education guidelines, TGDs, and room data requirements.Ensure full compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, fire safety, accessibility, and planning requirements.Coordinate with architects, engineers, assigned certifiers, contractors, and statutory authorities.Contribute to programmes, technical reviews, QA processes, and risk identification.Apply strong contract knowledge, especially relating to public works contracts.Integrate sustainability, NZEB, retrofit, and decarbonisation principles.Mentor junior team members and support best practice standards.Potential to act as Employer's Representative or Assigned Certifier.You Will Need 10+ years' experience in architectural technology or a similar role.Advanced proficiency in Revit (essential).Experience delivering Department of Education / public sector projects.Strong technical detailing skills across all RIBA/RIAI stages.Strong understanding of all relevant Irish building legislation.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Ability to operate independently and take ownership of technical delivery.Knowledge of Public Works Contracts (GCCC) advantageous.Desirable Experience School buildings, education campuses, or third-level facilities.NZEB, low-carbon construction, and decarbonisation strategies.Retrofit / refurbishment projects.Leadership or mentoring experience.Requirements & Qualifications Degree in Architectural Technology or related field.Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development.At Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.See our website for more details.
