Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to assist our surveying team with project cost management, estimation, and financial planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate QS or a Junior QS with 2-3 years of experience to further develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting our surveying team with various tasks, including:
* Assisting in preparing full precast frame quotations.
* Monitoring live projects and tracking financial performance.
* Submitting monthly applications to clients for valuations and payments.
* Liaising with various departments on project-related issues and variations.
* Supporting in identifying, managing, and negotiating project variations.
* Ensuring accuracy in cost reporting and contract management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* 1-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, ideally within construction or precast manufacturing.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with Cubit Estimating Software is beneficial but not essential.
