Nursing and Midwifery Planning Role
About the Position:
* This is a permanent full-time vacancy in a Nursing and Midwifery Planning Unit.
* The successful candidate will work with the team to develop and implement nursing and midwifery strategies.
* Duties will include planning, developing and implementing policies and procedures related to nursing and midwifery services.
* Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Nursing and Midwifery Planning: Develop and implement plans to improve nursing and midwifery services, including patient care and staff development.
2. Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to create policies and procedures that support high-quality nursing and midwifery care.
3. Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in nursing and midwifery services and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
5. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in nursing and midwifery.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in nursing or midwifery (e.g. Bachelor's degree, Master's degree).
* Registration with the relevant regulatory body (e.g. An Bord Altranais).
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar role or in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare management, policy development).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
