About the Position
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Field Engineer to join our team, providing high-quality technical support across Microsoft environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working on-site with local businesses.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver technical support to a portfolio of SMB clients in County Cork.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft technologies, servers, networks, software, and hardware.
* Install and configure computer systems, servers, network devices, and peripherals.
* Carry out routine maintenance, updates, and health checks.
* Escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate with internal support teams.
* Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
* Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional approach.
Requirements
* Strong technical skills across Microsoft environments (Windows OS, Microsoft, server administration).
* Solid understanding of networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
* Proven experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage well with customers.
* Friendly, approachable manner with a strong customer service mindset.
* Fully qualified Irish driver's licence.
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
