Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and Risk teams to design and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
* Support all stages of project delivery — from initiation and requirements gathering through development, testing, and implementation.
* Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and ensure all proposals are appropriately governed and approved.
* Analyse and interpret financial data to identify trends, challenge assumptions, and provide actionable insights.
* Ensure adherence to established standards, frameworks, and quality assurance processes.
* Produce and transfer comprehensive documentation to business‑as‑usual (BAU) teams for seamless operational handover.
* Identify, manage, and escalated risks or issues promptly to ensure timely resolution and compliance with internal procedures.
Essential Qualifications
* A third‑level degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another numerically or analytically focused discipline.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in SAS technologies such as SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Analytics, and SAS Data Integration Studio.
* Minimum of five years’ experience within the financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
* Demonstrated success in delivering technology‑based solutions across full project life cycles.
* Strong analytical and interpretative skills with the ability to challenge and improve existing processes.
* Proven problem‑solving ability and experience delivering practical, efficient solutions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging at all organisational levels.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Hands‑on programming experience in Python (including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib) and familiarity with cloud computing concepts.
* Experience in project management or coordination, with the ability to prioritise complex, interdependent tasks.
* Proactive, self‑starting approach with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
