Business Development Representative

This exciting new position focuses on acquiring independent agencies for a leading social media platform. As a key member of the business development team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing new agency acquisition strategies for primary markets, with a focus on attracting and onboarding high-value agencies.

By taking an agency-centric approach, you will prioritize your agencies' needs and collaborate with them to create strategies that address their specific business challenges.

* Leverage exceptional sales acumen to identify incremental growth opportunities for the social media platform's European market.
* Identify new acquisition opportunities using data, market research, and platform signals to understand key categories for high-potential agencies.
* Engage and nurture qualified leads from targeted lists, using tailored outreach to convert them into high-value business opportunities.
* Maintain and develop a pipeline for current and future prospects, ensuring consistent engagement and strategic planning for long-term sales success.
* Understand agency needs through in-depth consultations, ensuring solutions align with their and their clients' business objectives.
* Develop tailored value propositions and solutions addressing specific agency and client needs, utilizing internal and external resources for insights and case studies.
* Develop and execute strategic plans for high-value agency acquisition, setting clear goals and KPIs, and adjusting strategies as needed.
* Lead negotiations and leverage the social media platform's offerings to establish mutually beneficial deals, overcoming objections to close effectively.
* Gather feedback from agencies and clients to inform acquisition strategies and improve the social media platform's service offerings.


New Business Opportunities

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential agencies.

- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies for expansion opportunities.

- Analyze competitor strategies to identify gaps and differentiation opportunities.


Relationship Building

- Network with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

- Attend industry events and conferences to establish and nurture relationships.

- Build and maintain a strong professional network within relevant industries.


Client Needs Analysis

- Conduct in-depth consultations to understand agency and client goals, challenges, and pain points.

- Listen actively and ask probing questions to uncover underlying needs.

- Develop a deep understanding of agency industries and target audiences.


Solutions Offering

- Create tailored value propositions addressing specific client needs and objectives.

- Articulate the benefits of the social media platform's advertising solutions and demonstrate potential ROI.

- Prepare compelling presentations and proposals showcasing the social media platform's unique value.


Travel

Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally to meet clients, attend industry events, and support business development initiatives.


Key Qualifications

- At least 2 years of experience in sales or a related field, with fluency in German.

- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and acquisition goals, driving year-over-year growth.

- Strong relationship-building skills to nurture and drive mutually beneficial outcomes with agencies, clients, and internal stakeholders.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable in client-facing roles.

- Experience with CRM and automation tools such as Zoominfo, Pitchbook, Congis, Lusha, Salesforce, or similar.
