Aircraft Leasing Financial Planning and Analysis (Newly Qualified Accountant)
About the job: This is a unique opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to join a dynamic and expanding company in the aviation leasing sector.
While aviation experience is not required, a positive, innovative, and team-oriented mindset is valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain financial analysis spreadsheets and statistical models.
* Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets, including analysis files, forecast reviews, and commentaries for senior management.
* Assist in the preparation of Board packs and management presentations.
* Report on weekly and monthly revenue and profitability by entity.
* Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets.
* Collaborate with other departments to understand financial performance and support strategic planning.
* Enhance financial models and forecasting.
* Gain a deep understanding of revenue and cost drivers.
Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).
* Experience in financial reporting, ideally within a specialized sector.
* Advanced skills in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and experience preparing financial statements.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to business growth.
