The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the health and wellness industry and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued and loyal clients.
The successful candidate will
:
* Lead the team, ensuring they are nurtured through your presence and support, and to develop a stable, energised and professional work environment, to the highest standards.
* Attract, train, develop and retain a high performing Health Club team, who deliver exceptional service.
* Manage all people operations, including, rosters, training, payroll, performance evaluation, and management.
* Monitor customer reviews, following up and speaking with customers to ensure satisfaction.
* Liaise between the hotel front office and sales operational departments; clients and guests for conference groups; and guests as required.
* Participate in the annual budgeting and forecast process. Produce annual marketing plan & identify new business and marketing opportunities.
* Develop and implement Health Club goals, policies and standard operating procedures.
* Establish and maintain a professional business relationship with all vendors.
* Complete regular stock-takes and ordering as necessary, review brands, plan and implement systems to maximise sales and revenue
* Attend Resort management meetings as necessary.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* At least 2-3 years of previous experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a management position
* Demonstrable experience leading a team within a Health Club environment
* A proven commitment to the highest standards and continuous improvement
* A strong ability to manage projects, direct a team, and lead by example
* The ability to be held accountable and take responsibility
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with both team members and clients
