The Role:
We are seeking a Regional SHEQ Manager to join our client in County Meath. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a health & safety culture transformation and qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level (or relevant degree) in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management. As a key member of the SHEQ Senior Management Team, they will be responsible for leading and driving a culture which never compromises on the health and safety of employees, contractors and customers by ensuring the workforce is fully engaged in and understands their health & safety responsibilities whilst empowered to take necessary action when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver strategic SHEQ plans that support current and future business needs.
* Ensure all short- and long-term SHEQ plans align with legislation, contracts, and business objectives.
* Lead, coach and support the SHEQ team, working closely with operational leaders.
* Implement and maintain safety policies, training programmes, processes and procedures.
* Deliver and audit SHEQ programmes to ensure service levels meet or exceed industry standards.
* Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformities are reported and investigated correctly.
* Maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
* Produce monthly health and safety performance reports.
* Effectively manage SHEQ Officers through performance monitoring, data review and weekly meetings.
* Present monthly SHEQ performance data to the Group SHEQ Manager.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role with experience in leading a health & safety culture transformation.
* Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level (or relevant degree) in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management.
* Understanding of ISO Standards with auditing / reporting experience
* Excellent leadership skills with experience of managing a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Full, Clean Drivers License

* €55,000 - €60,000
