Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Cancer Research Project Manager within School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science. The Project Manager will support the development and delivery of a strategic partnership between University College Dublin (UCD) and Queens University Belfast (QUB) that aims to maximise access to EU and cross-border funding for cancer research. The post exists to coordinate activities that strengthen collaborative research capacity, improve funding preparedness and enable large-scale joint initiatives across the island of Ireland. Reporting to the Line Manager, the postholder will manage project planning, stakeholder engagement, communication processes and reporting activities. They will work with academic leads, research groups and external partners to ensure effective organisation and timely delivery of project outputs. The role will deliver key outcomes including engagement between UCD and QUB researchers, partnership development activities, preparation of collaborative proposals and the overall support of long-term cross-border research projects.
