Role: Warehouse Operative Salary: €31,000-€33,000 Duration: Contract Location: South Dublin Warehouse Operative Fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced warehouse operative to join a busy distribution facility in South Dublin.
This full-time role offers Monday to Friday day shifts, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Conveniently located with access to public transport, the position allows you to work alongside a small but skilled team.
To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience in a logistics or warehouse environment, hold a valid counterbalance and bendi forklift licence, and ideally possess a manual handling certificate.
In this fast-paced setting, you will be part of the team responsible for managing the flow of goods across both inbound and outbound operations.
Your daily duties will include picking items from high racking using a pivot/bendi forklift, packing goods for dispatch, and ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
You will also assist in maintaining inventory records using internal WMS systems and Microsoft Office, making strong computer literacy a key requirement.
You will operate a counterbalance forklift to load outgoing orders and unload incoming deliveries, manage stock transfers within the warehouse, and ensure all items are stored in their correct locations.
Working closely with your colleagues, you will help maintain a smooth and organised workflow, with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities: Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles.
Assist with picking and packing of goods based on customer requirements.
Manage goods in and goods out, including checking deliveries and dispatching items.
Maintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness.
Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and dispatch teams.
Conduct stock rotation and ensure stock integrity using warehouse management systems.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.
Complete relevant paperwork and system updates as needed.
Requirements: Valid counterbalance forklift licence essential.
Bendi/Pivot steer forklift certificate a distinct advantage.
Experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role.
Proven experience in goods in and goods out operations.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft office including excel and word.
Comfortable with manual handling and working in a busy environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
