Vulnerability Management Senior Analyst - Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vulnerability Management Sr. Analyst to join our dynamic Security Posture Management team.
The ideal candidate will oversee the identification, triage, and remediation of security vulnerabilities, ensuring effective security controls and maintaining a strong security posture.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Continuously assess and improve the organization's security posture by identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risk, and proposing mitigation strategies.
* Enhance the vulnerability management processes in accordance with established policies and standards.
* Identify and assess security vulnerabilities across applications, systems, network, and infrastructure.
* Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Product teams to prioritize vulnerability remediation efforts based on risk and business impact.
* Prepare and present detailed reports on vulnerability findings, remediation progress, and program effectiveness.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
* In-depth knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
* Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Tenable SC, and Tenable VM Cloud.
* Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing vulnerability data.
* Fundamental understanding of Operating Systems and related network protocols – Windows, Linux, and Cloud.
* Ability to apply a risk-based approach while working on assigned responsibilities.
