Your new company You'll be joining a major division of a global operational leasing group, listed in Paris and with a strong footprint in Ireland. The finance team collaborates daily with colleagues across Germany, the UK, India, and Paris. Your new role As Accounting Manager, you will oversee reporting and compliance for seven Irish-registered companies. You'll manage a small team of three (Accounts Assistant, VAT & Tax Specialist, and yourself as supervisor) while liaising with the wider finance team of 15, including AR, AP, banking, and management accounting. Key responsibilities include: * Preparing journals and financial reporting for seven Irish entities * Liaising with the consolidation department in Paris and treasury teams * Working closely with international teams in Germany, UK, India, and Paris * Overseeing VAT and tax compliance requirements * Managing company registration and Irish compliance obligations * Leading on financial statements, year-end reporting, and budgeting * Supporting ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives What you'll need to succeed * Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) * 3-5 years' industry experience, ideally within a multinational environment * Strong knowledge of Irish accounting requirements, tax, and VAT * Hands-on experience with accounting journals and IFRS reporting standards * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to mix well with the team and liaise internationally * Open-minded, flexible, and resilient under deadlines and pressure * French language skills advantageous but not essential * Available to start in January or as soon as possible What you'll get in return * Competitive salary (€75,000 - €80,000 DOE) * Strong benefits package including pension, healthcare, death in service, and income protection * 23 days annual leave, increasing with service * Office-based role in Meath with hybrid flexibility after 6 months * Exposure to senior leadership and international teams * Opportunity to step into a management role with clear progression and long-term career investment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
