About the Role
:
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated TA professional looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be personable, solutions-focused and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. You will join a close-knit Talent Acquisition Team of two other TA Officers, reporting to the TA Manager, and play a key role in attracting and hiring talent across a wide range of services and functions. Working Hours & Location: 9am - 5:30pm, hybrid working accommodated, office based in Smithfield, Dublin 7. Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract Salary: Range depending on experience from 38,000.
Responsibilities
:
Candidate Sourcing
* Attract and engage suitable candidates for a wide range of roles, from frontline Support Workers to central support staff.
* Utilise diverse sourcing channels including job boards, professional networks and internal referrals.
* Develop talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
Screening & Interviewing
* Review all applications thoroughly, ensuring timely communication with candidates regardless of outcome.
* Conduct initial screening calls to assess suitability, motivation and alignment with organisational values.
* Coordinate and facilitate both virtual and in-person interviews in partnership with hiring managers.
Offers & Onboarding
* Prepare and issue job offers through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) following successful interviews.
* Initiate and manage onboarding processes, including reference checks and required compliance documentation.
* Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience from offer to start date.
TA Administration & Compliance
* Maintain accurate, organised and up-to-date candidate records.
* Ensure full compliance with GDPR, organisational policies and employment legislation throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
* Support TA reporting and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
* Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the TA Manager.
Qualifications
:
* Previous experience in TA, Human Resources or Learning & Development.
* Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Required Skills
:
* Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, MS Forms).
* A genuine passion for helping people, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to self-motivate, remain positive and work collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
:
* CIPD qualification or similar.
* Experience working in the non-profit sector.
* Understanding of homeless issues in Ireland and the areas that Dublin Simon Community operate in.
