About the Position
We are partnering with a growing and very successful construction/engineering business to find a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional.

Main Responsibilities
* Provide HSE advice and support to managers, supervisors, and colleagues for the entire workforce, subcontracted labor, site workers, and members of the public.
* Develop strong working relationships with employees and promote a culture of engagement and continual improvement.
* Create and maintain safe systems of work (RAMS, etc.) and ensure their effective application.
* Drive continual improvement and complete/maintain HSE site, workshop, and equipment inspections and records.
* Complete incident investigations, identify improvement measures, and implement them.
* Understand other department members' functions as they affect your work.
* Attend necessary meetings and perform assigned tasks professionally and efficiently, in compliance with current HSE legislation, regulatory requirements, and the company's Integrated Management Systems.
* Communicate professionally, helpfully, and non-prejudicially in all dealings with clients and customers.
* Behave professionally and cooperate with other staff members.
* Deliver regular toolbox and induction talks.
Essential Requirements
* NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
* Proven HSE experience for at least 5 years.
* Experience in New Build and M&E construction environments.
* Experience with health and safety audits, lifting operations, and associated hazards.
* Desired criteria: Chartered membership of IOSH or working towards it, NEBOSH Diploma or working towards it.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
