Job Title: Insurance Risk Specialist
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in underwriting and claims assessment for life and serious illness products. The successful applicant will be responsible for making informed decisions that align with our company's guidelines, ensuring applications are assessed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Make accurate and timely decisions that align with company's underwriting and claims guidelines
* Manage and resolve any challenges to decisions by clearly explaining the reasons behind them
* Communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including customers and advisers
* Promote quality within the team by identifying errors, analyzing root causes to prevent recurrence
* Support a culture of continuous improvement within the team
* Consistently act with integrity and maintain a positive, proactive attitude
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Fluency in written and spoken German is essential. The ideal candidate will have a couple of years of market experience with underwriting authority for life or serious illness, or relevant risk claims experience. Alternatively, a medical qualification such as nursing would be beneficial. A relevant business or industry qualification, or a medical degree, is also desirable.
The successful applicant will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage time and workload.
Benefits:
Our company offers a strong base salary, dependent on experience, between 65,000 and 73,000 per annum. In addition, we offer an annual bonus, pension scheme, healthcare scheme, and hybrid working model.
Others:
