Job Description – Carpenter (Hindu Temple Wood Engravings)

We are seeking a highly skilled carpenter specializing in Hindu temple wooden engravings and traditional handcrafted designs. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience creating intricate carvings of divine symbols, mythological figures, and decorative elements such as peacocks, elephants, parrots, and other artistic motifs. This role demands exceptional craftsmanship, cultural authenticity, and precision in delivering ornate woodwork that aligns with spiritual and architectural aesthetics.
In addition to wood engraving, the candidate should possess knowledge of plasterboard painting, plastering, and tiling work to contribute to the temple's interior and exterior finishes. Proficiency in both traditional tools and modern CNC machines is essential. Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for preserving traditional artistry are key traits for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed wooden engravings for Hindu temples, ensuring cultural and religious authenticity.
Design and craft handmade woodworks, including divine symbols and mythological figures.
Perform wood and plasterboard painting, plastering, and tiling work.
Operate traditional tools and CNC machines for precision carving.
Collaborate with designers and artisans to achieve exceptional craftsmanship.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Hindu temple wooden engravings and handcrafted woodwork.
Expertise in intricate carvings of religious symbols, birds, animals, and mythological figures.
Knowledge of plasterboard painting, plastering, and tiling.
Ability to work with various wood types and traditional carpentry techniques.
Experience using carving tools and CNC routers.
