Eir business talent are seeking applications for an IT Support Engineer, this is a 12-month day rate contract located in Carlow.
This is an onsite role Monday - Friday Requirements: Provide high-quality, hands-on technical support for laptops, mobile devices, networks, servers, printers, and video conferencing equipment.
Offer "smart-hands" support for data center infrastructure, including physical installation, cabling, hardware diagnostics, and component replacement for servers, switches, and routers.
Manage the end-to-end IT equipment lifecycle, including asset management, inventory, and secure disposal.
Ensure prompt resolution of IT incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues as needed and monitoring service levels to drive improvement.
Proven experience in an IT support or infrastructure role, with hands-on technical capabilities.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, end-user comting).
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and solve problems proactively.
