Orange Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on a range of construction projects across Wicklow. This is an excellent career opportunity for a confident and organised Project Manager who can drive project delivery from early planning through to practical completion. You will join a well-established team with a strong pipeline of residential and commercial work. As Project Manager, you will: Take full ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring works progress safely, on schedule, and within budget. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain efficient workflow and resolve issues promptly. Monitor programme milestones, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to senior management and clients. Oversee quality assurance and ensure works comply with design specifications, building regulations, and company standards. Manage health & safety on site, ensuring RAMS, toolbox talks, and compliance documentation are in place and up to date. Liaise closely with commercial teams on cost control, variations, and procurement planning. Facilitate regular site meetings, ensuring actions are tracked and completed. Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle to support successful handover. The ideal Project Manager will have: A minimum of 5+ years' experience working as a Project Manager on residential or commercial construction projects. A relevant construction-related qualification (degree, diploma, or trade background with proven site management experience). Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and building regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate site teams and subcontractors. Proven experience managing budgets, programmes, and subcontractor performance. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or equivalent). A solid understanding of health & safety legislation and a commitment to maintaining a safe site. Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make informed decisions under pressure. Full driving licence and the flexibility to travel within Co. Wicklow as required.
