Unijobs are currently looking to recruit a Reception Administrator for the School of Medicine at the University of Limerick.
The role is initially until May **** with the possibility of extension thereafter.
The rate of pay is starting at €***** per hour and is full time, working 35 hours per week.
Job Purpose To provide high quality administrative support for all activities carried out in the School of Medicine and in particular, in the first instance, to provide frontline support for students and staff of the BMBS programme as well as other school programmes as required.
Working as part of the Administrative team within the School, this post will contribute to the overall efficient administrative operation of the School.
Key Responsibilities of the role: Provide front-line support to students on an ongoing basis and assist them with any queries they may have.
Provide high quality administrative support to UL Faculty based in the School of Medicine as required.
Provide information for generic queries to the School of Medicine office from staff and students (existing and prospective).
Maintain the generic School email accounts by responding appropriately and/or redirecting queries as necessary.
Provide support for a wide range of activities to include workshops, conferences, assessments, open evenings etc. as required.
Liaise with students / faculty / staff via various communication platforms e.g. Brightspace, MS Teams, etc.
Liaise effectively with departments within UL as well as bodies external to UL.
Support the Management and Administrative Teams in the delivery of quality objectives.
Provide administrative support including minute-taking for a number of School Committees and Working Groups.
Support the School's alumni and mentoring programme and graduate career progression.
Support teaching and marketing activities as necessary.
Monitor stationery inventory and maintain adequate stock levels.
Other administrative duties including, but not limited to, drafting letters, reports and other documentation for faculty and clinicians at very senior level, liaising with other University departments & Faculties, maintaining student records.
As the School of Medicine continues to expand and evolve, it is likely that flexibility in regard to the allocation of specific duties will be necessary.
