You will put your Data Science skills to work as you empower business partners and team members improve healthcare delivery. You will research cutting edge algorithms and technologies, and design innovative solutions to solve business problems that only a Data Scientist can.About the role:You will be working on innovative AI projects driving and supporting various advanced analytic solutions aimed to improve healthcare delivery. You will be an important member of a Data Science team focused on innovation; developing predictive models that leverage data in new and exciting ways. It will give you a great opportunity to get into the Healthcare Data world and learn best practices in the industry working with data both on-prem and in cloud.You will work in close collaboration with business and product stakeholders, as well as with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams. You will contribute across the Data Science toolset, patents or products in areas like shared codes, best practices, technology and quality. You will embrace continuous learning and evangelizing of Data Science practices to ensure industry best practices and technology adoption.Primary Responsibilities of the Data Scientist 2:Research, interpret, and analyse diverse and complex data and communicate findings to inform the business.Work with business to develop and operationalize analytic solutionsLeverage big data analytics infrastructure comprising Python, Spark, Databricks and Snowflake to solve complex business problems in the healthcare domain.Collaborate with fellow data scientists, business analysts, data engineers and subject matter experts to design and oversee the development of data science solutions.Contribute to and engage with the innovation and patenting programmes.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications & Skills of the Data Scientist 2:Degree in applied mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, statistics, bioinformatics, actuarial science or similar or equivalent experienceExperience developing tools using AIProficiency in Python, PySpark and other relevant environmentsExperience or knowledge with cloud-based data analytics such as Azure, Snowflake and DatabricksTechnical Skills of the Data Scientist 2:Ability to clean, transform, and analyze data using programming languages such as Python or SQLExperience with statistical modelling and machine learning techniquesProficiency in data visualization and communication of resultsUnderstanding of database management, data structures and modern big-data frameworksBusiness Skills of the Data Scientist 2:Understanding business objectives and ability to translate them into data science projectsFamiliarity with project management methodologies and ability to manage projects with clear timelines and deliverablesAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersUnderstanding of ethical considerations in data science and ability to apply them in practiceInterpersonal Skills of the Data Scientist 2:Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and toolsAttention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to solve complex problemStrong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications of the Data Scientist 2:Masters or PhD in applied mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, statistics, bioinformatics, actuarial science or similarExperience in working with healthcare and/or temporal dataTrack record of designing and applying machine learning solutions for real world problemsPlease note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
