The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for leading the organisation forward, enhancing its influence and value within the Irish public relations landscape.

* Drive Strategic Growth: Lead the delivery of the organisation's strategic plan, championing the PR profession in Ireland.
* Maintain Financial Stability: Oversee organisational finances for long-term sustainability.
* Enhance Member Value: Increase member engagement and satisfaction by addressing professional needs and implementing strategies for growth and retention.
* Lead Education & Development: Develop and expand educational programs, ensuring quality and industry relevance.
* Drive Event Success: Enhance commercial event outcomes through effective communication and marketing efforts.
* Ensure Governance: Adhere to best corporate governance practices, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Cultivate Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, representing the organisation internationally.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated leader with a proven track record of success. They will possess:

* Significant experience in membership organisations.
* Solid commercial experience, with a strong understanding of revenue generation and financial management.
* Experience in developing and delivering successful events.
* Exceptional communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
* The ability to drive and grow a small organisation.
* A proactive and self-directed approach.
* Desirable: Experience with digital/social media tools and technologies, a strong understanding of the Irish PR landscape, and a passion for the PR profession.
