Great National South Court Hotel in Raheen, Limerick, has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive to join their expanding team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Role Overview
You will be the primary contact for corporate and leisure markets, acting as the hotel’s brand ambassador and business development lead, while assisting with content creation. Your role involves delivering friendly, professional service to clients and proactively increasing hotel revenue through sales activities. You will represent the Great National Group locally, nationally, and globally, playing a key role in the business's growth and success.

Responsibilities
1. Assist in developing sales plans and strategies to meet food and room sales budgets.
2. Lead business development efforts, researching and converting new business into sales revenue.
3. Engage with clients to exceed their needs and expectations.
4. Respond to inquiries and convert leads into bookings for rooms, meetings, and F&B services.
5. Follow up with clients post-meetings and inquiries professionally and promptly.
6. Conduct hotel site visits and presentations.
7. Manage key accounts and host clients.
8. Promote the hotel through collaborations with visitor attractions and partners.
9. Determine rates, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
10. Coordinate event details with relevant departments using detailed function sheets.
11. Collaborate with the Head Chef on menus and seasonal pricing.
12. Participate in trade shows and industry events locally and nationally.
13. Communicate with the hotel team on customer feedback, bookings, and rate requests.
14. Manage social media communication for the hotel.
15. Ensure accurate billing and prompt settlement of accounts.
16. Attend weekly sales and monthly revenue meetings.
17. Maintain good relationships with other hotel departments.
Candidate Profile
* At least 1+ years' experience in a client relationship role.
* Qualifications in Sales & Marketing, Tourism, or Hospitality are advantageous.
* Passion for the hospitality industry.
* Proactive, driven, and target-oriented.
* Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
* Problem solver with a positive attitude.
* Organized, capable of multitasking, and working under pressure.
* Self-motivated team player with good communication skills.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
* Flexible to work shifts, including weekends.
* Willing to travel locally, regionally, and nationally; full driver’s license required.
* Legal right to work in the EU.
