Job Title:
Area Manager - Service Development and Delivery
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead the development and management of our adult services in the West Sector. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day management of the service area reflects the ethos and vision of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and quality
- Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve organizational goals
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including people supported, families, staff members, and the wider community
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Requirements:
- A nursing qualification or relevant third-level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector
- Minimum 5 years' experience in management, preferably in the Health Sector
- Management qualification
- Budgetary/financial, employee relations, and team management experience
- Full clean Irish manual driving license
- Proficiency in the Irish language; however, we offer language classes to support your development
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent leadership, managerial, and team-working skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of current thinking and practices in person-centered service delivery
- Proficient in ICT skills with a good working knowledge of IT systems
