Qualified Heating Engineer / Plumber

Due to continued growth and expansion, Glenmac Heating is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Heating Engineer to join our servicing and maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, professional individual to become part of a busy and growing family-run business within a competitive industry.
The role will involve working across Dublin, Louth, Meath, Kildare, and Wicklow. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge across all aspects of plumbing and heating, along with a positive, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation and commissioning of air-to-water heat pump systems
* Servicing, fault-finding, and repair of air-to-water heat pumps
* Installation, servicing, and repair of gas and oil boilers
* Use of phone-based job management software to log job data and complete reports/invoices
* Taking payments where required
* Working to a pre-scheduled job list
* Maintaining regular and effective communication with management and the operations team
Experience:
* A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in the domestic plumbing industry
* Experience working with heat pumps is an advantage; ongoing training will be provided
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing
* Full, clean driving licence
* Strong technical competence and problem-solving ability
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
* RGII qualification
* Experience with air-to-water heat pump systems
* Comfortable using mobile apps and basic job management software
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop professionally

Pay: €60,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
