This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the CFO, supporting the financial operations of our engineering arm. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial processes, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and payable, invoice and purchase order management, reconciliation, banking, and financial analysis.This is a hands-on role for someone with an eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and the drive to grow. You will have visibility across the business and contribute directly to decisions that shape financial controls and reporting structures as we scale.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles, ensuring timely and accurate processingPrepare and issue sales invoices and manage incoming purchase ordersOversee banking activities, including payment runs, bank reconciliations, and cash flow trackingAssist in the monthly and quarterly close process, working closely with the CFO to ensure deadlines are metPerform ongoing account reconciliations and maintain up-to-date records across all finance systemsSupport the development of internal controls, reports, and analytical toolsEngage with project managers and suppliers to resolve invoice or PO discrepanciesHelp prepare reports for management review, including project cost analysis, expense tracking, and budget comparisonsContribute to the continued development and efficiency of finance operations as we scaleRequirementsQualified or Part-qualified in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or a similar recognised accounting body, or qualified by experience in a hands-on finance role4+ years of experience in a finance or bookkeeping position, preferably within a project-driven or engineering-related environmentProven ability to manage AR/AP functions, reconciliations, and ledger entriesComfortable working across multiple systems and proficient in Excel and accounting platformsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressureStrong interpersonal and communication skillsA genuine interest in building a long-term career in finance within a growing companyWhat We OfferA collaborative, growth-focused environment where your work is valuedDirect mentorship and training from our CFO, with real scope for developmentExposure to the commercial side of an engineering businessOpportunity to grow into a more senior finance role as the business scalesCompetitive salary package and flexibility where possibleJob Type: Full-timePay: €45,000.00-€60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsFree or subsidised travelOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
