As they gear up for the next phase of growth, they are looking for a strong communicator and people leader to guide one of their key value streams.
This role is about leading from the front—motivating a team of 10 production operatives in a fast-moving, high-variation manufacturing environment.
It's not about mass production; it's about structure, flexibility, and a people-first mindset.
Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and support a production team to deliver daily targets.
Communicate clearly through daily briefings and regular team updates.
Coach team members to stay engaged and productive, even during changeovers or downtime.
Monitor performance and address issues promptly and fairly.
Work cross-functionally with planning and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and positive team engagement.
Lead by example—hands-on when needed, always approachable.
Experience
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or high-mix production setting.
Strong communication skills—you're clear, calm, and confident.
Ability to get the best out of people and handle tough conversations with fairness.
A structured, proactive approach to scheduling, process flow, and performance management.
Comfortable using standard PC tools (Word, Excel); mechanically minded a plus.
Reliable, honest, and ready to grow with a company on the move.
