Electrical Design Engineer – Water Infrastructure (All Levels)

Opportunity: A growing water infrastructure consultancy team is seeking Electrical Design Engineers to support the delivery of Irish and UK water and wastewater projects.
This role suits electrical engineers with an interest in MEICA systems, offering involvement in technically challenging projects delivered for public clients and major contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Produce electrical calculations, drawings, specifications and schedulesamentos.
Typical scope includes LV distribution, power, control systems, MCCs, instrumentation interfaces and site services.
Support design development from feasibility through detailed design and construction support.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil and process disciplines.
Engage with BIM/digital delivery teams where applicable.
Support site queries, commissioning and handover documentation.
Candidate Profile (Essential)
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Experience (or strong interest at graduate level) in water, wastewater or industrial infrastructure projects.
Exposure to Irish or UK engineering standards.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Based in Ireland with right to work.
Desirable
MEICA or industrial electrical experience.
Water or wastewater treatment plant exposure.
BIM / Revit experience.
Chartered or working toward chartership.
