About the Role:
As an Editor Intern, you'll be responsible for reviewing, refining, and enhancing content across our website, blogs, and social media. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world editorial experience, develop your writing and editing skills, and contribute to a growing media platform.
Key Responsibilities:
* Content Editing:
* Review and edit articles, blog posts, and multimedia content for clarity, coherence, and accuracy.
* Ensure adherence to Babylon Radio's editorial style and tone of voice.
* Writing & Content Development:
* Assist in creating high-quality content, including news stories, features, and opinion pieces.
* Generate ideas and provide input for content strategy.
* Fact-Checking & Quality Control:
* Verify sources and ensure published content maintains journalistic integrity.
* Ensure all published material is free of grammatical, factual, and structural errors.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with writers, journalists, and social media teams to optimize content.
* Provide constructive feedback to content creators to improve writing quality.
* SEO & Audience Engagement:
* Implement SEO best practices to increase content visibility.
* Assist in structuring content for better readability and engagement.
